what are you talking about? If signing bonuses didnt count against the cap, then the redskins could just sign every big name free agent out there, give them a 30-50million dollar signing bonus, and pay the vet minimum, with only the vet minimum counting against the cap. There would be no purpose to the salary cap if signing bonuses didnt count against it.

Signing bonuses count against the cap. Teams just have the option of pro-rating the signing bonus over the length of the deal. Meaning, if its a 3 million signing bonus on a 3 year contract, teams have the option to split the bonus up so it only counts 1 million each year.

I think I would draft a safety who played safety in college and has experience playing safety and understands he can't let someone behind him. So agree to disagree. I don't see hall playing safety all that well, especially with how inconsistent he is and how often he gets beat by average receivers
I like the idea of DHall playing FS for Dallas.

I've never taken to Royster as I've always thought he wasn't a hard nor fast runner.
Tristan Davis is someone to keep an eye on. PS guy, coaches like him.

Sad to see one of my favorites go, at least he didn't sign with SF or Pitt.

I like him but it makes ya wonder how AZ signed him & other teams passed. I like that we let him walk & top tier teams didn't seem to be overly interested.

1 more sign to say we are headed in the right direction.
