If they weren't going to offer Nicks a contract, what makes you think they would pay the type of salary for a franchise tag WR?

Also, your team isn't going to have the cap space bro.

The Eagles are going to run the hurry up, which may mean a lot of really fast 3 and outs and their Defense being on the field for a LONG time.

The way the Redskins run the ball, I can see a time of possesion stat in that first game looking like this: Redskins 48:00 minutes, Eagles 12:00 minutes!

Can't make a guy get surgery if he doesn't want it. Plus there are no guarantees it would solve the problem.

Re: Around the NFL Offseason 2013

Is it me or does it seem like most (espn-nfln) are susing the injury factor too much with the skins? Everytime there is a debate they always point out griffs injuries or RAK or PG... I cant wait to prove them all wrong.

Re: Around the NFL Offseason 2013

The injury angle is overstated, for sure, but it's a lot easier to point to specific injuries than to point out that the Redskins haven't put together back to back winning seasons in two decades.

Also, if we are healthy, I think we have a great chance of another winning season. But I am a bit skeptical of the quality of our training staff. They haven't produced great results in the last five years, and some outgoing players have popped off regarding their frustration.

But the big thing is: the great player on the Redskins who you expect to be even better next year is RG3, and he's rehabbing. There are other key players on the Redskins, but it's a veteran roster with a very young quarterback, and we put more on that quarterback's plate than a lot of QB's can handle, which means that there's always going to be some risk there.

.

??? Honest question, how can you say that when the injury in question is not his first of that nature .I understand he is recovering well but to say the injury angel is overstated doesn't make sense.
