Granted, I realize he's a much better QB than Sanchez in the regular season, just will people be saying the same once they stop missing the playoffs?
What is your deal with Joe Flacco? He's started every game for the Ravens since being drafted and they've been a playoff team every single year he's taken over. He brings stability and he can make all the throws. Sanchez is not in the same league as Flacco, and I don't care what the stats say. He doesn't play in a wide open offense so his stats probably will never be great. But he's a pretty damn good Qb.

Re: Around the NFL 2013 Offseason (Episode 99)

Joe Flacco is now 7-4 in the postseason with five road wins, tied for all-time best with Eli Manning and Roger Staubach. In his past six playoff games (four on the road) he has thrown 12 touchdown passes to just two interceptions.
Comparing to Sanchez is crazy.

Ravens still have a good offensive line and a good RB.
Ravens might not make it back to the Super Bowl, but teams that make it 2 years in a row is rare these days.

Come on NC you know comparing Sanchez to Flacco is not even comparable. The Jets really made those two playoff runs despite Sanchez.

Not sure who that is more of an insult to, Grossman or Sanchez.

Probably Grossman, even he is better than Sanchez. I would take him over Sanchez in a heartbeat.

I think you all missed exactly what I said. Othewise, you wouldn't be saying anything about comparing Flacco with Sanchez. I think I acknowledged Flacco is a much better QB. However, hist stats are average at best in the regular season, and YOU all keep harping about the post season. There is more to the game than just the post season. I understand many of you put a heavy weight on it, but it's laughable to do so. See Giantone's Eli is better than Peyton statement for a good example.

Mark Sanchez Playoffs Game Log - Pro-Football-Reference.com

Is this guy a good QB because his record is great in the playoffs and so are his stats? Hardly.

Do you think this year will mark a run of endless playoff-less seasons for Flacco and the Ravens?

I think they miss the playoffs this year. I thought last year was the last year of their window to consistently contend for a championship. They almost blew it getting into the playoffs. A run of missed playoffs? I think that depends on how well they draft the next year or so. Their defense is nothing like it used to be, and Flacco is really too inconsistent to carry the team. One minute, the guy looks like he's a elite QB in the league, the next minute he's blowing it against a shitty team like the Jaguars. Way too inconsistent for my liking, and losing talent isn't going to help them any. The one thing that helps them is that Pittsburgh is on its way down as well, and the Browns are.....the Browns.

I don't see Baltimore in the playoffs either. They lost 10 starters from last years team, that's going to be very hard and Pittsburgh won't be as bad and also Cincinnati is very good.

I think the Ravens make the playoffs this year...says the guy who had them in the Super Bowl last year (or earlier this year if you insist)

Re: Around the NFL 2013 Offseason (Episode 99)

They miss the playoffs. Elam will not be Ed Reed right away if at all, Webb is coming off 2 major knee surgeries so who to say that he will even be the same, there left tackle can't even practice because he is over weight, Dumervill had 11 sacks last year but only 4 came at critcal times and Ed Dickson is no Pitta. Also I think they brought in way to many free agents at one time to build any chemistry. Time will tell but I think it's the Bengals division this year.

Ravens will be a 9-10 win team again and right in the hunt for the division.

Seems that some can't wait for them to collapse, I just don't see it happening anytime soon.

Too good of an organization. You don't have that type of sustained success on accident.
