Can certainly say the same about the lions too though.
However - yes i think we snatch a victory.

No offense to you CB59, but Skip Bayless is a complete moron and quite the diva himself. I love when Steven A. hands him his @ss on a regular basis. Keep in mind that Bayless is the idiot who said "white fans want Cousins".

This article is a lot of conjecture and Bayless stirring the pot, as much of the media has done on the RG3 issue all off-season because it generates hits and ratings. Here's the bottom line, RG3 has the passing ability to be one of the best of all-time, without the Read-Option. As I've said many time before, if we had a HC and OC who could scheme a productive NFL offense we would thrive on O (now we have the franchise QB, so that excuse is gone). Imagine a Patriots or Saints type offense....with Brady or Brees being able to run a 4.4.....good luck stopping that.

The RO has been figured out by NFL DCs and the increase of risk to a franchise QB is not worth the reward of increased YPG until you get inside the 10. Inside the 10 the compressed field takes away the main advantages of the RO.

Unfortunately there's a disconnect somewhere in Redskins Park. and my suspicion is either we don't have the X & O firepower that can teach the advanced NFL passing game, the coaches have misconceptions of RG3's abilities, or the coaches are so hard-headed that they think what worked 15 yrs ago in Denver and 5 years ago in Houston will work here, today. Probably a combination of all three.

Ooops I forgot, I want RG3 to fail and Cousins to be put in anyway

The media likes to build up players but they LOVE to tear them down.

What makes you so sure NFL DC's know how to stop the RO? Most of our best runs by Alfo has been on that play this year.

What they use in Houston 5 years ago, is the same thing they are using today.

Couch Coaching at it's finest.

lol I don't think the dude can do it. D Hall may be able to keep up speed wise but his coverage blows.
Had Crawford not gotten hurt, I think he would have worked his way into the starting spot with Amerson. His injury and Thomas's injury and Merriweather's inability to play more than 11 minutes don't help.

Are you referring to those runs when we are losing by 100 pts?
I think the RO is hard to stop, but made much easier when the QB isn't healthy to be a threat to run. So we kind of take ourselves out of the RO.

What do you mean about Houston? Are you talking about zone blocking? Houston has never skipped a beat even after Kyle left.

Preseason though he was a pleasant surprise. Probably a better tackler than any of the dang safeties we have now.

Coming out party. 11 receptions 171 yards 4TDs would be great.
