Re: Kirk Cousins Expected To Start Sunday

I really just want the Redskins to make it to a Super Bowl before I die. Why is that so hard to ask for nowadays?

Adam Schein calling Shanny benching Snyders guy akin to Costanza driving in circles around Yankee Stadium parking lot with the championship trophy attached to the bumper. Lol.

Lol. In most circles, people will see this for what it is, a Shanny troll move. He's not going to come out of this whole thing looking very good. Bad record, spiteful moves, asshole status confirmed.

Yup. He is baiting Snyder to fire him. Of all the money Snyder has thrown away - this 7 mill to make asshole go away would be money well spent imo.

Re: Kirk Cousins Expected To Start Sunday

Funny thing is..

Fred Davis has a better shot at being a Redskin next year than Mike Shanahan lol..

Who wouldn't want Fred Davis, and Jordan Read for a spread offense?

Cousins Presser Up first... sad that the backup answering a ton of questions, gives the media NOTHING to chew on....

I'm on the RG3 side (clearly), but this is something he can really learn how to do..

Re: Kirk Cousins Expected To Start Sunday

I love RG3 and what he's done.

Although, I can't sit here and say that i've always wanted Captain Kirk to be our franchise guy. Before we traded those picks away, I thought he would be a great NFL QB when watching him in College. I loved how all the players he played with talked about his leadership and work ethic.

Even though we are in shambles. At this point, I just want the franchise to win and move in the right direction. 20 years of this crap, and i'm ready to have a shining light. Kirk, RG3, it doesn't matter to me. Let's just win.

Re: Kirk Cousins Expected To Start Sunday

Cousins is a very good at interviewing. Very smart guy and knows exactly what to say.

Re: Kirk Cousins Expected To Start Sunday

I wonder what people would say if say 6 months to a year down the road we all learn Snyder demanded RG3 be drafted. Told MS that RG3 was going to be the Franchise QB. MS was forced to play RG3. and we learn that MS truly was looking out for RG3's best interest and not playing him because the field is so Effed up he didn't want RG3 to reinjure the knee.

I get the whole he's the coach, and he shouldn't have drafted RG3 if he didn't want him but if you never have had a supervisor or owner over top of you tell you that you will do something (and you don't want to do it) then you will never understand.

I'm probably 100% wrong. I didn't want MS to begin with I wanted Jon Gruden. In reality its stupid that I keep defending MS because if he's gone that opens the door for the guy I wished the team brought in. lol. But I just get the feeling there is a ton of animosity directed possibly at the wrong person. and 5 yrs down the road all we will be able to do is say "dang I wish I knew that back then, Snyder is such a douche." No... "I'm sorry MS." or anything.

I kinda get the whole secret squirrel BS that MS does. Gibbs was the opposite and would put all the injuries out there and who was playing or not and why. MS just looks at football like a military strategist. He does not want to give the enemy anything to prepare for. Then you got the players coming out and being honest and saying whatever but it's totally opposite of what MS said. <makes him a dick. I think in the perfect world MS would like to have put a ban on the media like the Patriots have done.

You know what screw it. Fire him. Lets bring on the next new toy to get excited about cause thats all we got to get excited about. New players and new coaches. Especially since the team is not going anywhere.

I'm almost ashamed to say this but after this last weeks game.... I did seriously think... what other team could I point my allegiance to. This team has been my home team for my hole life, I'm 47. I grew up in this area. I've seen the good years. I've lived the good years. But I'm so tired of the losing. The negativity. Everything. I'm just exhausted with this team. Then why would I change? cause there is one common factor in all the years. They have changed coaches, changed players, changed QB's, changed GM's, etc. etc. etc. Nothing seems to work, but there is one thing that remains the same everytime and that is the owner.

Re: Kirk Cousins Expected To Start Sunday

Hey, I think it will be humbling for RG3-10. I am excited to see Kirk. But, if this is really a play to get fired it is the most dispicable act any NFL coach has ever commited.
