| Re: w/o of next year I think Gibbs has a bunch of recievers, one or two of whom will step up and have a good year. I think Jacobs probably has a better chance, because he will be active game days since he plays special teams. McCants' lack of playing time is frustrating because he has the size and the hands be a big part of the offense, especially in the redzone. |

| Re: w/o of next year I had a dream a few weeks ago that DMac started wearing 81 and became 81 on the field. Dreams aside, I think McCants biggest downside is his inability or unwillingness to play special teams. I like Jacobs and think he can be a very good WR.

| Re: w/o of next year We haven't seen much from Jacobs and McCants and Gibbs hasn't given me much of a reason to think we will see that much more next year. I think Patten was underrated with the Pats and is going to have a good year with a larger role. Moss has proven he can get into the end zone... something we didn't see from Coles. Thrash is steady but unexciting. |

| Re: w/o of next year I don't know, Gibbs gave Jacobs a good amount of playing time in the last game. He talks highly of him.

We can't just dismiss the fact that Mccants seem to be in the doghouse the entire year? whats the deal? Why was he benched for so much of the year? I think Jacobs has potential, he has had bad luck with injury, I think he will contribute this year...but I really think Moss and Patten are going to productive... | |

| Re: w/o of next year i agree with tafkas and matty, but just a side note... this topic has been posted before many times...for future reference for the new people to the board, please search back through old threads to see if you might happen to be repeating what has already been said. i feel like we're beating a dead horse here...just my two cents. |

| Re: w/o of next year I think that Ramsey's development will help our receivers look better next season. We have the speed to get open and enough talent to wreck havoc is Gibbs will open up the game.

| Re: w/o of next year I disagree, Skins. I see Jacobs becoming our #2. He's fast as hell, and has great hands. Gibbs has had nothing but praise for the guy, I really want to see what he can do, I doubt I'm alone. Right now we don't have any standout receivers to take his place.

| Re: w/o of next year I defnitely think Jacobs has promise. He's definitely not a bruiser, but he IS fast as hell as Daseal said.

| Re: w/o of next year I like Jacobs for a big year. WRs frequently break out in their third year, and I like what I've seen/heard about him so far. I see McCants as a decent red zone threat, but probably not much else. Patten can stretch the field well. I guess my biggest issue with our WRs is I don't see a reliable 3rd down, go-to, possession receiver. Outside of McCants, we don't have anyone over 6 foot, 200 lbs.
