So tired of Author Blank coming down on the sidelines. He looks like such a attention grabbing tool when he does that.
Does Blank come down to the sidelines during losing efforts too, or is he just a front-runner like Jerry Jones in that regard? He looked like his pet just died in those closing, inevitable moments.

After pulling for the Falcons, that was totally my silver lining too. Goodell hosed the Skins with a salary cap penalty when the owners colluded in 2011, so he has been on my shit list ever since.

With Shanahan as offensive coordinator, Matt Ryan won the NFL MVP award and the Falcons jumped out to a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl. But, after that, there were only four running plays. Four. Even when the team was in field goal range.

Kyle is getting reemed today and rightfully so. He should publicly acknowledge he blew it.

Here is a 2017 bold prediction: The Atlanta Falcons will miss the playoffs.

I really do believe games like this emotionally destroy athletes/coaches. Not all, but I guarantee you this loss will impact them in 2017.

Re: Super Bowl 51 Week

Makes zero sense with Kyle Shanny.

I bet Dan Snyder was smiling last night...he and Kyle couldn't stand each other...

Defense allowed a comeback... that should have been made impossible by kicking a FG.

There are holding penalties on run plays as well as pass plays and as I said before Ryan could have check out of the play. They team lost in OT to the Greatest coach and QB in history....give them their due.

Pats' comeback was epic, not taking anything away from them. That game was crazy.

But Falcons could've killed the game and made several crucial mistakes.
Put it how you want but Kyle made the worst choice possible.

They could have lost ten yards on an holding penalty on a running play and still make a 52/3 yards FG... as was said in an article posted here, all they had to do was NOT to lose 23 yards in 3 plays... They did because Pats' D made plays and Ryan didn't execute, but Kyle should'nt have put them in that situation in the first play.

He tried to explained himself about that play call and revealed he F'd it up, saying they were "on the fringe of fieldgoal range" "trying to get as many yards as possible"...
That's poor situational awareness. They were not "on the fringe of fieldgoal range", that was a cheapshot SB winning fieldgoal.

Should be good for at least two more wins.

Dan Snyder can't stand anyone that has a brain. Classic "little man" syndrome. He reminds me of a less intelligent version of George Costanza, minus the hair loss.

So true, that gut wrenching loss will linger for a good while.

I'm in favor of this. Love our colors anyways but darker shades of burgundy are fine with me.
