It all depends on the details. What did they trade ? And how much does Smith get in his extension?

The saga is over! I'm happy. Its not even close to July yet. Team must've got tired of waiting and said eff it, he gone! Now we need to trade down in the 1st recoup the draft pick and move on. I'll take it.

Remember, we were a mediocre team with KC and now we are well positioned to stay the course with Alex Smith. We're winning off the field again!

The contract could be a Bruce Allen and Dan Snyder Coup de grace special.

I swear if they pay this fucker big money it will make no sense what so ever

I wonder if he has thick enough thighs to go for a qb sneak?

Re: Redskins trade for Alex Smith

I approve, pending finding out who the player to be named is. Alex Smith will be very successful with Gruden, every bit as successful as Cousins, if not better. Heís mobile and throws on the run very well.

But if we gave up a meaningful player I donít anticipate being happy.

But ultimately, if you thought Cousins wanted to be here, you were kidding yourself all along.
