I will be excited if the front office gets Smith some weapons, whether free agency, draft, or both. If not, I'm going to be nervous (for Alex!)

Of course weíre going to get him some weapons. The FO wants their new QB to look as good as possible to justify the whole mess. I wonít be surprised to see them go hard on offense in FA and the draft.

Yeah I agree, u may see them get 2 WR's in FA and 1 in the draft, that would not surprise me

Or it could be if they get the weapons it is just because of a desire to win.

Iím also sure theyíll go after quality WRs and not a converted QB still trying to figure out the basics of the position

Yeah, I didn't quite get that post either? "We're going to go out and get quality weapons to cover up the mess we made with Cousins!" Um...well, good! To do less would be dumb.

Of course the goal is to win, but if you donít think part of the motivation will be to make Smith look great so they can win in the court of opinion that moving on from Cousins was the right call youíre seriously underestimating Snyder and Allen

I agree , would have been different had they given Cousins those weapons .

The court of public opinion will change little. There are some who will follow Cousins to his new team. Some will still cheer for the Skins but be bitter. And there will be folks like me who are happy especially after just reading Cousins would not talk until March.

Letís face it they hung Cousins out to dry be letting DJ and PG go and replacing them with a converted QB

A deep playoff run will have the majority of fans saying Kirk who

Youíre happy he wants to tour a few teams and make a calculated decision?

I still think they did that on purpose, they wanted kirk to commit and he wouldn't so they didn't commit to him on the field.
