In all seriousness though, this guy has gone from one of my favorite (top 3 on the team), to an absolute joke. PENDING he is a person who ends up being a suspect in this case, I say cut him. Flat out, its not worth the aggrivation this guy is giving us. If we go into the season with Andre Lott and Matt Bowen as our safteys, thats fine with me. I'm sure Brown fan is loving this one.

| Re: Not good Taylor news You know if we had picked Winslow we would have been damned for that eventually. Instead we picked ST and looks like we are damned for that now..... What is it with these guys? All the talent in the world and no common sense to go with it. We get it they are tough, now can they put that macho crap aside and just consentrate on their jobs, FOOTBALL????????????????????????? |

| Re: Not good Taylor news I have a question. If he has done something as stupid as this, has he voided a part of his contract so that he would have to return some part of his signing bonus if we did decide he was to much of an off field screw up? In other words, does the team also have to suffer finacially for a player being an off the field idiot? To much money, to little maturity. Sean, please grow up and just play football. It's the life every guy on this board wishes he had.

| Re: Not good Taylor news It gets weirder and weirder. Dad, Mom, and great-grandmama do not know where young Sean is. Also, the cops don't know what's up or they aren't saying. :confused- :confused- :confused- More info, from the Post: Miami Police Seek Taylor for Questioning in Assault

Yeah, the draft class of 2004. The greatest class of "what ifs" we may have ever seen.

| Re: Not good Taylor news "Taylor's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, did not return several telephone messages asking for comment." Because I'm sure he called his agent to say - "Hey Drew, I was just involved in a shooting. That should help negotiations..."

However, if he's shooting at cars or getting shot at or whatever happend, there is a problem. This is not going to end well for the Redskins or for Sean Taylor.

| Re: Not good Taylor news I am beginning to wonder if Sean Taylor will ever be on the field for the Redskins again. Or any other team for that matter. From the time he was pouting on his couch on draft day, I've always wondered about him... No more Miami players please!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Re: Not good Taylor news Maybe Sean Taylor isn't that bad... I just read this in Mark Maske's Washington Post column, "Safety Mike Doss rejoined the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday and participated in the club's voluntary workout. Doss issued a public apology after being arrested in Akron, Ohio, last weekend for allegedly firing a handgun into the air outside a crowded nightclub. A grand jury in Akron is to determine early next week whether he will be indicted on gun-related charges, and he could face additional penalties from the Colts or the league . . . ." |
