Joe T. Prediction for this season

Check out Redskins.com for an interesting interview with Theisman. He predicts the Skins will win 10 games or more this season.

That's nice to hear. It'd be nicer if it wasn't coming from the same guy who said Darrell Green won't make the Hall of Fame

Joe is a fan of the Skins and of Joe Gibbs.

He's a homer, nothing wrong with that. We have enough haters out there.

Re: Joe T. Prediction for this season

True enough, I live in Charlotte and on a local radio show before the season last year he said the same thing about the Panthers. Joe is all about keeping himself in front of the camera these days.

I dont want to hijack the thread but when did Joe make such an idiotic statement about Darrell Green?

Joe has been wrong just like any other announcer that makes predictions, but he's far from an idiot. I am not looking for a JoeyT inteligence debate here...he's my childhood idol and i just felt the need to defend him. Idiot is a little rough...

I agree Celts, Joey T. is one of my all time favorites too.

Maybe I'm just a hopeless homer but I've always liked him in the booth.

To be honest who here thinks Darrell Green is a shoe-in for a spot on the HOF? I don't!

Cornerback, more than any other (non-O-line) position, is a statless job. INT's are a big deal, but the great ones don't get balls thrown their way. Darrell was such a player. In fact, even Peter King (that prick) says "And look at Washington, 3-1 in Super Bowls in a 10-year run but just two Hall members -- John Riggins and Joe Gibbs. I'd buy the argument that Grimm, Joe Jacoby, Matt Millen and Darrell Green all deserve their day before our committee."

Darrell played beyondthe numbers. He impacted the gameplans of his opponents. Until Art gets in, there are no shoe-ins - but Darrell comes close.

Re: Joe T. Prediction for this season

Thanks for the link TAFKAS...Darrell Green is one of the greatest corners in the history of the NFL. Name 3 who were better. You can't.

Hall of Fame no doubt. 1st ballot

Re: Joe T. Prediction for this season

After what's happened with Monk nothing would surprise me with the HOF's decision regarding Green.

Re: Joe T. Prediction for this season

Unfortunately that's true. Monk is typical of the treatment any Redskins player seems to get.
