The amazing thing about your post is it might actually work, and the resulting picks make sense. Sly like a fox!

Now can someone tell me where I left my Blue Star Ointment?
I knew the anagram was the dead give away! Makes it more clear than Cindy Crawford's complexion!

Can you tell I just re-read the Da Vinci Code?

Here's a couple more anagrams for you...

JOE JACKSON GIBBS
E.O., J.K.C.
Job, Gain SB's!

(translation: Executive Order, Jack Kent Cooke. Job, Gain S.B.'s! Seems accurate enough.)

CLINTON EARL PORTIS
All-Pro, net coin stir.

(Yepper. Just the way it happened.)

STEVE SPURRIER
Vert. press, I rue!

(Yes, he sure did. We all did.)

Blue Star Ointment? Medicine cabinet, top shelf, next to the corn/callous remover. Right behind that empty bottle of Visine.

The reason I ask is that there was a rumor flying around down there that had the Skins, Chargers and Browns in a draft pick and player swap that was only a little less complicated than a Middle East Peace Plan. You managed to toss the Giants into the mix and make it as simple to untangle as a plate of spaghetti.

Interestingly, the key name in the "Florida rumor" was Gallery because about 10 teams supposedly want him desperately.
No, not Florida. I was holed up in Northern Virginia with apparently nothing better to do. Though if the Skins were to call, I'd be happy to offer my services!

I picked on Gallery because I keep reading little blurbs from the local papers for these teams and his name is coming up all over the place. He seems to be highly regarded as the only "sure fire" (as in, not needing to "work up to his potential") pick in the draft. I have no doubt than in almost any other year, we'd be champing at the bit to get Gallery too. That's why Al Davis makes me nervous.

The more I played around with the scenarios, the more it all just kind of fell into place.

Middle East peace? Wow. That would have to be one hell of a trade! I'd make it a heartbeat, though.
