Don't look now....

But the Bengals are tearing it up. I always liked Marvin Lewis and that offense is looking absolutely great. Along with a defense that just picks opponents constantly. After week 3 they have 16 turnovers. +14 ratio. I guess getting a big lead early forcing teams to throw helps, but they've still been exciting to watch. I hope they win that division!

Carson Palmer is really developing nicely for them.

Re: Don't look now....

I called them during the preseason as the sleeper team this year.

Re: Don't look now....

Chad Johnson has to be considered one of the top 5 Receivers in the league. They have a strong running game, and the defense has stepped up. If they win their division, I can see them making run deep into the playoffs. Kudos to Marvin Lewis.

Re: Don't look now....

They look very impressive right now. Their defense is playing well, offense is running on all cylinders. I'm glad we dont have to play them this year.

Re: Don't look now....

I guess starting Palmer last year over Kitna was a wise move after all.

Re: Don't look now....

Last year the Bengals were the ONLY team that was able to pick apart our defense. I was really impressed with them.

If any of the teams out there wanna learn how to beat our D, they should go watch the tapes of that game. Of course Williams learnt some lessons from that game too, and I'm sure he's adjusted with a few new tricks.

Re: Don't look now....

Right. Speaking of which, teams that throw the short pass always seem to move the ball on us. Dinks and dunks CAN beat us. Cincinnati moved the ball at will with that bullshit last year.

Rudi Johnson also ran well for them to open that stuff up.

I think Chad will be up there by the end of the season... did any of you guys see the pro bowl WR competition? The man is sick!

I also like the way he's cocky... seems like fans of every team laugh at his humorous methods.

Re: Don't look now....

i have always liked johnson, he can back what he says, he also is funny it isn't offensive.

I am glad that we won't play these guys this year(that includes the postseason)
