| BREAKING Washington Just Picked Traded with New Orleans: Chris Cooley, TE, Utah State Kiper says he has a great hands and is a decent runner. Thinks it's a great pick, reminds him of Clint Didier Last edited by Cush; 04-24-2004 at 11:03 PM. |

| Wonder what we gave up. Doubt it was a gift from the Bengals for being good people.

| I think this could be an awesome move for us. This guy looks like he could be great under Gibbs...He doent have the attitude of Winslow, not as faste but a little bigger, mabye a better blocker. Im very excited right now, I thought they wernt going ot do anythign. I wonder if they wanted him all along. What did we give up to get him?

| I like it! I was just getting back from Dairy Queen to find this little gem when I got home. I also think he will be more of a team player, to hell with a ME player like Winslow. |

| Here's the deal: Redskins get: New Orleans' third-round pick (No. 81), which they used to select Utah State TE Chris Cooley, and the fifth-round pick (No. 151) they acquired from Minnesota. Saints get: Washington's fifth-round pick (No. 139) and the Redskins' second-round pick in 2005. I dunno, sounds like he was expensive. No 2nd again next year and now only a sixth this year. |

| They traded a 5th rounder (this year) and next years 2nd round pick It sounds like Washington had him targeted for quite a while, and they didn't want to take any chances |

| ...I hope they had him targeted and think he will start and perform...A second next year...thats expensive. Look at all the great players that just went in the second round. And again we're giving away our draft. Mabye this guy is a sleeper and will be a stud in Gibbs system, rookie of the year honors after we win the super bowl?

| I like the trade. But after this, I'd prefer we stop trading away future picks and wait to see what we can find in the rookie free agent pool. I also really like the fact that Cooley is married and graduated with a 3.3. Smart and settled down. Sounds like a good Redskin to me.

| He'd better be good if we gave up a second rounder. Man I hate it when they do this. |
