| Re: Does anyone consider Irving Fryar a Redskin Not even close...he's a Patriot. That would be like an Eagles fan claiming Art Monk.

| Re: Does anyone consider Irving Fryar a Redskin Man... this thread won't die.... The intent was since I like to post signings for Redskin players on here, I was asking if he would qualify.....I wish I would have done the subject line differently. |

| Re: Does anyone consider Irving Fryar a Redskin Quote:
RR I have a question for you....What criteria would you use to determine just what a "Redskin" is? After reading all the response's to your question no one has mentioned what they think the true definition of a Redskin is, or should be. My definition of a Redskin would be a player drafted or signed origionally by the Redskins, and played the majority of their years with the team. That's not saying there have not been many players who came to us from other organizations and made great contributions as a result, and are considered great Redskin players. In the case of Irving Fryar it would apear his allegiance had long since been committed elsewhere before he became a Redskin. Therefore, in his particular case I would answer your question by saying NO.

| Re: Does anyone consider Irving Fryar a Redskin Sure, I consider him a Skin since he DID play for us... But when I think of him, the Patriots come to mind first. It's like with Joe Montana...he WAS a Chief, but everyone thinks of the 49ers when they hear his name. |
