| Dover, DE bars? I'm in DE for the holidays and my folks have cable that shows the FOX affiliate in Philly so I am going to have to find somewhere to watch the game.. Any suggestions for the greater Dover area?

| Re: Dover, DE bars? The Comcast cable for Dover will not be showing the Redskins game. There is a JW's Sports Bar in Dover at the following address: 1035 Walker Road Dover, DE 302-735-9955 I've never been there, and I'd suggest calling ahead to confirm that they will be able to accomodate you. Depending on how you define "Greater Dover area", I'd suggest a drive to Lewes's Grand Slam. They will definitely have the game on, and they have several big screens. It's about 35 miles away, but it's the only guarantee I can give you.

| Re: Dover, DE bars? If you head to Grand Slam in Lewes, I suggest a large pepperoni and sweet pepper pizza. either that or a Pizza Bianco...can't go wrong with either. A 30 minute drive down Route 1 in the wintertime is well worth it to see the Skins... Just strikes me as odd that Dover has the Philly FOX affiliate, while Georgetown and the rest of slower lower has the DC affiliate...

| Re: Dover, DE bars? Slower Lower gets both Philly and DC for Fox. We also get Baltimore and Philly NBC, Salisbury and Baltimore CBS, and just Salisbury ABC. It's a strange world, baby.

| Re: Dover, DE bars? OMG - they're showing no football!? "Paid Advertising" and "The Andy Reid Show"? Wow, I didn't think I could despise Philthadelphia more than I already did, but this takes the cake! Well, at least we're not forced to sit through their crap-ass, meaningless game down here. |

| Re: Dover, DE bars? Fox has the double header. However, as is often the case when prevailing local interest is on one game, the station doesn't want to screw itself with one game running long. Ergo, Fox 29 in Philadelphia will be running the Andy Reid show for the first ten minutes of what would be the game, then (when everyone has fallen asleep) they'll switch to hard core pornography.
