Cornerback
Carlos Rogers, the ninth overall pick in the 2005 draft, has agreed to a five-year contract.
The deal is worth a maximum of $17.45 million over the life of the contract with $11.23 million in bonuses. He was the first of the Redskins' two picks in the first round.
Rogers is suffering from a first-degree ankle sprain and a bone bruise in his right foot that will limit him in camp.
He was four-year starter at Auburn. As a senior in 2004, he started all 13 games and finished with 47 total tackles, two interceptions and eight passes broken up.
