| Search the CTC NFL tickets marketplace for Redskins tickets, cheap Jets tickets, Packers tickets, sold out Steelers tickets, Chiefs tickets and premium Giants tickets. We also carry Nationals tickets, Washington Capitals tickets and Washington Wizards tickets. |

| Re: What happens if teams are not in compliance by March 2 with the salary cap? I thought they went to the highest contract that would create the most room to get you under the cap and then began to void those deals. In which case a team would lose a few players and then become under the cap. Wasn't there a Doomsday thread back before the last NFL Collective Bargaining agreement. We talked Lavar into giving back some money to become a free agent and this helped us prevent this scenario. I don't even know what to search for to find that thing.

So basically according to this if the Skins stand pat Chris Cooley's contract would be the first voided with Andre Carter next in line? | |

| Re: What happens if teams are not in compliance by March 2 with the salary cap? The 49ers also got hit with loss of draft picks ( a 3rd and 5th) plus 1 mill in fines for breaking cap rules but it wasn't for the march 2 deadline. If I remember right it had something to deferred payment plans that didn't follow the rules. The NFL is supposed to approve all contracts so I don't know how exactly they slipped one though. |
