| Re: Current Redskins Salary Cap Status - 2008 The rookie pool for the Skins is $4.544 million this season. Once Lloyd clears the books, they'll have $9.8 million in space. Minus the $4.5 for the rookies, that leaves $5.3 million in space. Look for extensions or renegotiations throughout training camp that incorporate incentives to kick more cap room into the 2009 season.

| Re: Current Redskins Salary Cap Status - 2008 Some of the other sites are talking about Portis's restructure and that it freed up a lot of CAP space for us. Is this something new Portis did recently or are they talking about old stuff again? Something about him getting 9 mill guarenteed and 15 mill through 2010. but they never said how much cap space it freed up? If it's something new then what is our cap now? |
