Yeah and repeatedly outran Ware and everybody else on one good leg. I really hope we work on getting Griff healthy and keeping him so. I'd be happy to see him do what Portis was absolutely ridiculed for once, falling down before he was in danger of being hit.
Love that game. That Dallass game week 17 really makes me think of the promise and the danger of RG3's game. He could be the real game changer, that Kaepernick and Wilson emulated as the season went on, or an injury prone career cut short. Because he can't take the hits Newton and Rodgers and Rothlisberger can take.
I don't know why Wilson and Kaepernick didn't get smeared last season. I don't think they're slide prone. It seems to me they're good at changing their direction downfield so they're running parallel to would-be tacklers. But I really don't know. If there's any way to reduce the pounding RG3 takes (and it's not the read option, it's the same plays Vick* gets hurt on scrambling and in the pocket) I hope the Shannys implement it.
*(That is the ONLY valid comparison to Vick, IMO.)
