Tough trade away starters or rotation guys based on "next" year. Next year is a long time in the NFL, even if there is practice squad talent they need a year to develop. Thats why its practice squad.
Like you, T Jax situation needs to be clarified as soon as possible, but we are at the mercy of the league with reinstatement.

Regarding TJax: Unfortunately, the Skins can't do anything to resolve this situation for quite a while because they are forbidden by the NFL from having any contact with him until he is reinstated -
if he is reinstated. I may have the date wrong but I think that he may not even apply to be reinstated until August 31st. After that, there's no definitive timeframe for a decision by the NFL.
