It's a roster that lacks a ton of weaknesses, but also a lot of strengths. We're 'well off' at most every position on the field, but exceptional at very few.
Last year we were exceptional at QB, RB, and the left side of the O line. Of those three, the position most likely to return to in 2013 is QB, but I can't say it's a sure thing. I think it's likely, but not certain.
A team that is exceptional at QB but average through out the rest of the roster can make a pretty nice run. And there will be some role players who chip in with excellent years. There will also be role players who need to be replaced due to lacking performance.
Any hopes of super bowl contention this year are on Robert Griffin to be exceptional. And he's a good guy to bet on. He just doesn't have a ton of help. It's a roster of role guys. I think he's going to get a stronger contribution from his defense this year, but he's the focal point of everything we do on offense.
