Started rewatching the game, got through the 1st half. You can't do that to your defense, leave it on the field nearly all the 1st qtr and a lot of the 2nd. At least we got to see a lot of the D, and there's a lot to like. The front seven is not elite but very good. Bowen was kinda quiet and cofield not as effective without two hands but the D line is solid. LB corp is also. I think ppl have a way higher standard for London. He missed some tackles (because of physical limitations) but made a lot of smart plays also. Riley missed some tackles too (because he's out of place sometimes) but made some good ones. Riley's side/gap was attacked more than London's and Riley let himself get blocked out of the play or bit on the fake too much. Several of the big McCoy runs were on Riley, including the one right before Philly scored late in the 2nd half.

But our secondary still sucks. Rambo is a huge liability at FS, but why put biggers back there? He's a converted corner now? I still think the team made a mistake not trying Hall at centerfield when they decided to keep him. Hall lacks the physical ability to cover the better receivers but probably is our best DB at reading the defense. Anyway, the corners are playing way off the LOS and Rambo bites on anything. Biggers wasn't much better.

Not enough seen of the offense to say a lot, other than Philly put on the zone blocking clinic that night and I hope Shanny calls out the oline all week for it. Our guys didn't get to the 2nd level run blocking and looked flat slow sometimes. You could say sluggish from sitting too long but it's a lousy excuse. And the pass blocking...ugh. Hopefully this group gets it act together ASAP.
