Donof is right...the real issue was was refs not making a call either way. It HAD to be either a fumble or delay of game on the D, although the only reason they laid on it so long was because the refs didn't make a call either way.
I initially just saw the QB lay the ball down without taking a knee, which I'd call a fumble.

And yes, I agree, the Refs should have called something. But all this wouldn't have happened had this kid of just taken a knee. It wasn't like there was 2,3, 5, 7, 10 seconds left. There was almost 20 seconds left 19 to be exact. Why be so fast and cute about a knee what are you accomplishing doing that?
You know what, the more I think about it, he and his team deserves to lose for doing the fast knee. Lesson learned for that QB. If you have to use instant replay to see a freaking kneel down, then you don't deserve to win.
