Here's the telling stat that gives a healthy Ramsey another start:

Mark Brunell yards per attempt: 5.00

Patrick Ramsey yards per attempt: 9.55

If stretching out the field is what you intend to do - and the acquisition of speed receivers coupled with a desire to run outside says that it is - you go with the guy that threatens to stretch the field, not with the guy who averages nearly half his yards.
