Everyone here is just assuming that Brunell will be just as bad as last year. If Gibbs felt that Brunell would be as bad as he was last year he would not have made the change.
With the way Ramsey was playing it is clear that we were not going to win a lot of games with him as starter. This is a defensive team that needs to run the ball and control the clock on offense. Ramsey makes to many mistakes to play that style of game. Ramsey might score a couple more TD's as starter, but he will also give up more TD's by putting our defense on a short field more often than Brunell will.
