Edit: ill also say ....again.... That the chiefs are highly overrated. Look at who they have beat - its garbage. They will benefit from an extremely weak schedule and get into the playoffs - and get knocked out of the first round. Luck beat the broncos. Smith - with a better D and better run game - did not.
Statistically yes, the Chiefs have a better defense.
If you watched the Colts vs Broncos game those two defenses were worlds apart. The Colts were killing Peyton Manning repeatedly. The Chiefs didn't even touch Manning once. The Chiefs defense played well, but the Colts defense held Manning to 13 points into the 4th quarter. I don't think you can use one game to compare the two because Luck has been terrible a time or two this season as well.

I think Andrew Luck is better than Alex Smith, I just do not buy into him being the sole reason that team went from 2-14 to a playoff team. That team was talented with players like Robert Mathis and Reggie Wayne (who is now out), but they needed a good coach and at least a decent QB. Plus the Indy organization is one of the best organizations in football, that isone of the most important factors when it comes to young QBs. Can you say the same about the Skins?

To me right now the "rankings" of young QBs

1) Russell Wilson
2) Andrew Luck
3) Cam Newton
4) RG3/Kaep

I obviously think this will change but I am just going off what I have seen thus far.
