The annoouncers for the LSU-TAMU game talked about the "1970's-style offense" run by LSU under OC Cam Cameron. Meanwhile, LSU was controlling the clock with their running game, playing tough "D", and beating Johnny Manziel & Co.
I was thinking at that time that I
love that style of football. I'm no expert on the subject, but to me a dominant OL is the foundation of a great football team. It keeps your opponent's offense off the field and his defense on the field - both of which are good things. It also keeps your defense off the field. All of these things add up to difference makers in the 4th Qtr.
