ALL of the teams you mentioned bring in big impact FA all the time - off the top of my head, just recently the Pats got Amendola, Seahawks have Harvin, 49ers got Boldin, Denver with Wes Welker, and on and on...

I find it hilarious that the examples you gave are the exact evidence that counters your argument.....LOL None of those acquisitions have helped those teams out much. All three of them have been injured for the most part. I'm almost willing to bet that those teams would take a mulligan if given the chance. Also, several of those were trades.


You don't just spend for the sake of spending. Who cares if you have 30 million or 50 million in cap room. You draft young talent, you develop them, and you pay them when it's time and let them go right before their downward slope of their career. Good teams do it and bad ones do not.
