Offenses don't cut it in the playoffs. Defenses do. In the playoffs, the play is more aggressive and defenses tend to shine. Regular season? It's all about the offense and scoring. Post season? It's all about the defense and special teams. It's like the NBA. Defense is a for gone conclusion during regular season, but come playoff time, the refs allow that extra contact and favors those with defenses (why Suns never won) You more likely aren't going deep into the playoffs with a subpar defense in the NFL. I would agree here as the refs seem to let me play during the playoffs. I love it, not a lot of ticky tack bs.
