Are you saying to run an offensive play from either the two or five? Or keep the PAT at the two and just make the two point attempt from the five? If the latter, then no changes are needed. Just keep it all the same.

I personally dont see the big deal with it. The PAT affects a game in a meaningful way once every 4 or 5 years. A couple of games here and there have been lost due to a missed PAT, but not enough to matter imo.

Although I dont buy Goodells reasoning. I dont believe its about exciting plays so much as its about extra commercial time. Add one commercial per TD scored.
