I saw this headline today and thought this is the stupidest thing i've ever heard of. It is one thing to try and improve player safety, but this borders on stupidity. He says that partially fan excitement factors into their decision, feeling that 99.9% of the time the extra point is almost automatic.

This guy sucks, seriously. I could see him saying that one day he envisions a 32 team playoff scenario because the "fans would be excited"....

Keep the PAT. Sure its almost automatic but those times when its not automatic and a team misses it seems like they end up chasing that point for the rest of the game and somehow the missed PAT ends up factoring into the final score. It aint broke and doesnt needs fixed.
