Why would anyone support eliminating something that's so much a part of the game we love? Shouldn't preserving football be more important than your being merely "entertained"? Perhaps you should examine your priorities outside football if you support destroying it by doing away with an integral part of the game, that takes very little time, because it doesn't "entertain" you. Oh, how I wish I were alive when the Redskins were killing the 80s and early 90s, and John Madden's Raiders were still terrorizing opponents. That was real football. And every year, Roger "F****** Idiot" Goodell carries the NFL away from that particular game more, whether by practically eliminating the kickoff, to limiting contact by RBs, to limiting huge hits by handing out fines.

And the PAT not useless; 2003 Saints and John Carney ring a bell with anyone? I believe that Saints fans everywhere remember that PAT very much.
