This is what really happened. He got injured in week 17 of 2011, re-injured it in week 2 of 2012. He missed 14 games in 2012. Outside of that he's missed just 2 other games.
He's made multiple Pro Bowls, safe to say LB is not just an experiment.

Well said. There are 31 other teams in the league who would love to have an "experiment" at LB like Brian Orakpo. Re-signing him is an absolute necessity. Any argument to the contrary is crazy in my opinion.
