As for marginal value, you're forgetting about the contract inflation that comes along with an increasing cap. When 2015 hits and the cap is $140M or higher, a $10M cap number for a highly effective WR will not seem bad in comparison. In fact I don't think you'll be able to find a single better value among the players who hit the open market next year.
As for a bet, yes I'll take it with you any day, he will absolutely be a Redskin in 2015. I think people around here will look forward to seeing you proved wrong a lot more than you think.

That bolded thing is the truest thing you've said today.
Look, if he earns an extension, then I'm flat wrong. Wouldn't be the first or last time. But if he plays at a level unworthy of an extension, he's a cap casualty. That's just good cap management, which you've lauded this team before. So if you think they'll continue to show good cap management...then I don't understand how you can't see how safe my position is here.
All of that would have been the case if the Shanahan's were still in charge, but it's a regime that isn't responsible for his contract. So...yeah, connect the dots whenever.
By the way, when I actually am wrong, I enjoy people poking fun at how dumb I am. Makes me feel important.
