But they only put up 213 total yards against denver with gates taking 60 of those, against the cowboys they got about 80 total more yards. This might be because the defense of denver is dominant but denver gave up over 425 yards to miami the first week and lost, and miami only got 235 yards this week against the jets. This just shows that the chargers offense didn't play amazing this week but did have a better day against the cowboys. Could this possibly mean that billy boy doesn't have an amazing defense?

i know that it is only week 2 and it is hard to find stats that are evenly distributed among good and bad teams but while CHICAGO had a MUCH better day yesterday than they did against us, The CHARGERS had a worse day against a defense that gave up the most yards the week before than they did against the cowpukes
I think that scenrio is possible, but I think we are reaching if we try to link and connect all of those stats to tonights game. I hate to sound cliche, but on any given Sunday any team can beat another. Though the stats are a little encouraging it's really not worth much, especially 2 games into the season.

These two teams will be ready tonight, and the only thing that will be important to them as far as last week is concerned is the game film that they've studied.
