Well lets get one thing straight. This signing would come with plenty of risk. From tying up cap space to one day finding yourself caught by surprise the same way the Falcons were when Vick got arrested for running an illegal gambling operation. It's very possible the gang ties are blown completely out of proportion if not in fact completely non-existent. However the fact remains that the bell has been rung so at the very least it will be something to watch out for down the line.

Then of course there are the complaints from Eagle fans about tardiness, lack of effort, blah blah blah. Though I'm fine to put it under sour grapes many of us, myself included, ignored similar complaints from Philly fans about McNabb.

Now with that said I want Desean to play for the Skins. I've seen the kind of impact Jones and White have had with Ryan in Atlanta and I can only imagine that the same type of supporting cast would only be beneficial to RG3's development.

Also as much as I would love to see upgrades all across the line save for LT the fact remains that this line is nearly as bad as it has been in years past when it was virtually neglected. For starters they are among the best in the league when it comes to run blocking, at least when we're running zone. Also from what I understand Gruden's system is designed to get the ball out quick and limit hits to the QB so at the very least that should go a long way towards fixing the pass protection problems. After all if Shanhan's running game can make running backs look better then they really are whats to stop a playbook employing numerous 3 step drops to improve pass protection?

Of course all of this speculation until we see the actual on field product.
