I do not think Gibbs played him for 9 games because he gave him a huge contract. I think he stayed in because Ramsey showed nothing in preason just as Brunell and Gibbs was hoping that our offense and Brunell would improve. Which it did not. I still say we have to face the fact that neither Ramsey nor Brunell are QBs of the skins future and that soon we will be watching Campbell as our starter. That will give Gibbs about 3 1/2 years to groom Campbell and make a run at the SB. I would love to say otherwise but I don't think its likley that either Ramsey or Brunell will turn things around and lead us to the playoffs this year. I would love to be proven wrong but I just don't see that happening. We could have a winning season but it will probaly not be because of an outstanding perfomance from either Mark or Ramsey.

Actually if our defense stays healthy and if Brunell doesn't make a lot of turnovers, I think our chances are really good in the NFC this year.
Just like the Bears may slip under some radar screens this year, I think the same is true for the Redskins. And if it comes down to any tie breakers between us and the Bears, we'll get the nod.
As far as Campbell goes, I was thinking he'll challenge for the starting spot next year but could possibly lose out to Brunell and start the following year. God knows, I hope I'm wrong but we'll have to see on that one. One things for sure some questions will get answered tonight.
