This isn't really a gear-grinder, but it is a slight annoyance of mine.
People who misuse the phrase "begs the question." Listen, and right now I'm looking at you,
Rich Tandler, "begs the question" does
not mean "raises the question" or "asks the question." It simply refers to a circular argument. See better definition
