Brandon Jenkins has a lot of pass-rushing talent, but if he doesn't contribute on special teams I don't think Jay will keep him around. The alternative, Rob Jackson, isn't the best pass rusher, but he's good in coverage and run defense. I think the Jenkins-Jackson battle(assuming we keep 4 OLBs) will be a tight one.

Richard Crawford - I think he's a very good player who can help the team in several ways. I'm just hoping that he has recovered enough to make the team and have a good year.

Josh LeRibeus - I think that Josh has a lot of talent. In the past, he's hurt himself by not being in good shape. But now it seems to me that he has found the motivation to keep in shape. I'd like to see him compete for a starting job this season.

Phillip Thomas - I really wanted him in the draft and we got him. He was an elite playmaker in college and I think he can become a very good NFL player. He might even become a starter some time this season.
I too am rooting for these players.

Assuming he's back to where he was health-wise, I think Richard Crawford makes the roster fairly easily. He was looking like a solid corner last year, plus he has the punt returning thing working for him. Just a guess at the CB group: Hall, Amerson, Porter, Crawford, Breeland, and Biggers. Minnifield goes back to the PS.

LeRibeus makes it too. I think he's got some talent as well, he's versatile and nasty, and the depth along the line isn't awe-inspiring, especially now with Hurt showing up out of shape.

As for Thomas, he's pretty much a roster lock. I think he'll earn quite a bit of playing time this season.
