What did you guys expect to see?

First and foremost Rice should be in jail.

What was Goodell thinking when he suspended him for 2 games?
The fact that he did not attempt to watch the video of the assault is unbelievable.
Goodell gave him a 2 game suspension, that should be that. I don't understand how they can suspended him again. This isn't new evidence, it's been there available the whole time!!!

I would like Goodell to serve an indefinite ban for his handling of this case.
I hope Rice fights the new suspension but I also hope he ends up in jail and never plays in the NFL again.

F... Ray Rice and Goodell!
I think there's a general lack of imagination that doesn't allow people to understand things without having actually witnessing them. For example, when Goodell allowed Michael Vick to play without having to face further suspension after being released from prison, there was an awful lot of people who believed he should be allowed back because "he had served his time." If there were videos showing him executing (through torturous means) the seven dogs that he personally executed, I believe far fewer people would have concluded that he served his time and instead would forever be sickened by the mere mention of his name. But why? Because of that lack of imagination; the inability to understand the terrible nature of things not experienced first hand. And I use the Vick case because it's an easy example, but there are many other social problems highlighted by the general Ray Rice reaction. In the examples of Rice and Vick, the lack of imagination allows us to gloss over terrible things. However, in many other cases, it prevents us from feeling empathy for others when we should feel empathy, etc.
