Re: How many got teary eyed??

I was just really excited and jumping up and down cheering......until I saw Gibbs celebrating........that brought a few tears.

There's been a lot of talk about this whole QB controversy and where loyalties lie this past week.......and it's been very frustrating for me having to defend myself simply because I questioned/disagreed with Gibbs's decision. But the fact is I love Joe Gibbs.......when I saw the smile on his face, my own joy didn't even matter.....all I could think about was how happy I was for Joe Gibbs and how happy he must have been at that moment in time to have come back to lead this team. I would have held it together if not for that shot.

The point is disagreeing with someone doesn't mean you don't support them or like them anymore. I love my parents and my wife with all my heart, but I'd be a liar if I said that I never disagreed with them or thought that they were wrong for a decision they made. The fact that I believed we had the wrong QB in the game for 56 minutes on Monday didn't take away from the pure emotion and joy I had in the final minute or two........and I've probably never felt happier for our coach.
