Then again, it takes me back to Terry Allen. If I remember correctly, the guy basically had both knees reconstructed at one point or another, but was still a very effective running back after the fact. So, the way I see it is, if you're going to have some major injuries, you should probably have them while you're young and able to bounce back faster, as opposed to the wrong side of 30 when things start slowing down a bit.
