His career hasn't even been judged in a full season of play yet. He had some injury problems early on. He was in Cleveland of all places.
Plenty of QB's in the NFL who went to another system on another team and had success and played well.

rookie was playing for us right now, or any other first year QB had those stats
or beat Dallas on Monday night football. People would be calling him the next Joe Montana around here.
It's a shame as a fan base we base players the way we do. It's like we all have Snyder glasses on from being treated the way we have been treated.
The guy starting this Sunday is as humble as they come. He's getting his shot again in the NFL and he's done nothing but play lights out for this franchise and WIN for this franchise so far.
I feel like we deserve the culture we receive because of the way we act as a fan base.
