Gave up?

Gave up. . .

How long are you supposed to stay with a guy who you have to uninstall your game plan for (against Tampa Bay) because he can't do the basic things required of an NFL quarterback?

If sports writers, talk radio hosts, and fans on a Redskins forum know that Griffin can't:

look at more than one side of the field on a play,
make reads beyond a check down (sometimes not even that),
scramble left and throw,
move in the pocket without losing sight of his receivers,
escape pressure with his feet or a quick release,
anticipate his receivers coming open;

then the defensive coordinators who we face probably know all those things too.

It is their job to know all that. After 3 years and multiple injuries, Griffin is the easiest of our QBs to defend.

Out of Kapernick, Wilson, and Griffin, all of whom run a mobile QB type offense we have the least skilled of the bunch. Wilson is slick and smart. He takes care of the ball and himself but isn't a great quarterback.

Everybody keeps hoping to recapture the magic of 2012. This organization is chasing a pipedream.

But, this is the guy we need to put winning football games, the careers of 50 to 60 players (idk whether to count the practice squad), and the livelihood of coaches on hold for so he can learn the basics he should already know.

Yea sure.
