Gregory also has shown some ability in pass coverage.
Although I like Gregory more than I like Ray, I think that Ray has a chance to be a good pass rusher as a 3-4 OLB in the NFL. On the other hand, Vic Beasley is simply too small to play OLB in a 3-4 defense, at 6-2, 235. I don't think he's a fit for us but he is a very good athlete who has been an outstanding college pass rusher.
Gregory should be taken in the top ten, if not the top five, of the draft. If we want him, we'll probably need to take him at #5.
As for Ray, I think we could possibly trade down to the 10-15 range and still get him, if we want him. That might be a very nice scenario for the Skins: Trade pick #5, draft Ray later in the first round, and pick up an additional second round pick in the process. One can hope.
