The Redskins cannot turn things around solely based on 2 drafts- and no free agents

This is the year for the Skins to double down on the draft. We basically had two full staffs evaluating college players at all levels- the Skins glorious college scouting depth and McC's private firm. The draft isn't a sure thing but this year ought to be as close as the Skins can get. On the other hand our pro personnel department has been less than stellar, and McC certainly was not sitting around looking at potential FAs. Take this year to load up on draft picks, evaluate the pro personnel on their jobs and get the right crew in for the next year. Next year we should be more balanced in the approach, and hopefully less position needy. Plus we would have the added bonus of actually rolling cap over in the offseason assuming we leave the big name FA alone this year.
