The media eating him alive has nothing to do with his comments. They are going to figure out a way to do that regardless. He was a #2 overall pick that we gave up a ton to get. People to this day still talk about Ryan Leaf and JaMarcus Russell, and outside of a couple of blowups by Leaf, they werent known for talking to the media.
The whole media thing is just being blown up by the media. Why? Because people like you eat it up and they get paid. If RG3 never talked to the media, there would be another reason they would come up with to do this, and you would eat that up as well. If he was a media darling and said everything right, they would come up with something else to make it the story they want. He was a #2 overall and being talked about as a bust, that is all thats necessary for this to happen, saying the right or wrong things to the media is not required.
