Some fans will question every play that doesn't work. What irritates me the most is when everyone complains about doing the unexpected. Like when it is 4th and 1 from an opponent's 40 and everyone runs a go route. A wide open receiver (that makes the play a good call) drops a sure TD at the 10. Then
all the fans say they should have ran up the middle and the OC is an idiot.
The 49ers in their glory days under Walsh used to frequently burn defenses by doing the unexpected.
