Agreed. This is a winnable game if we stick with the right game plan.

And if by some shift in the weather we don't get rain this is still a winnable game. The Eagles offense, specifically passing game still hasn't clicked yet.
We can't allow them to get rhythm or confidence. The best way to do that is to keep them off the field by running the ball and controlling time of possession.

Its not going to be easy to run the ball. I say again. It is not going to be easy to run the ball. The Eagles run defense is actually decent.

Not every run is gonna get 5 yards. There might even be some no gain or worse runs mixed in there. But they need to find away to run the ball. Imo the running game is still the best part of our team/offense.

Bring the commitment/intent to run from the Miami and Rams games. Control the clock. Miami and Rams iirc we had the ball for about 38 minutes. We need to strive for that type of ball control. Sticking with the run will force them to defend and set up play action.

Even if we aren't running the ball for huge chunks its still sets up play action. Many coaches believe play-action works regardless of the yards per attempt given up; provided the offense keeps running. Heck, some coaches believe in the constraint theory. The more success a defense has stopping a certain play e.g. run "action" look the more susceptible they are to the play "action" pass from that run "action" look. But I digress...Run the ball.

Don't put the game on Kirk's shoulders. If the Eagles play 8 man fronts don't immediately switch to "pass mode".

I think J has some good pass concepts against man. But before he dials those concepts up I would like to see Kirk started off with easy "openers" like screen passes, roll-outs, drag routes and play-action. Hopefully get Garcon involved early with those opening scripts. I know Reed is our weapon. But I feel like Reed is gonna 'win' regardless and doesn't need to get in rhythm the way Garcon might (I believe).
